Citrus Swallowtail

A striking swallowtail butterfly with bold black and cream patterns perches on white blossoms in my garden. Scientifically known as Papilio demodocus, it is common across Sub-Saharan Africa and is particularly famous locally for laying its eggs on citrus tree leaves.
